Confluence is a place where we create, organize and discuss work with our teams.
Most of us not only use Confluence for collaboration, documentation or as a Knowledge Base but also as a place to create drafts, write reports, take meeting notes, assign tasks or even scribble some text when a physical-notepad is not available. Current tables in Confluence

Amongst many of the other benefits, Excellentable also features versioning. Import Formatted Spreadsheets
Excellentable allows you to import preformatted .xls, .xlsx, and .csv files directly into Confluence. You can import all of the formatting, content, and formulas into your Excellentable in Confluence without having to make additional edits. Excellentable also has a similar look and feel to your favorite spreadsheet tools, so there is no need to learn a new tool.
Search, filter, sort, and share in view mode:
Excellentable is natively built for Confluence, so a lot of features are custom-built for Confluence’s view mode as well. For example, you can search or sort a table directly from the view mode of a Confluence page without needing to edit the whole page. You can share filtered results with a team member and every time you share, your team-member will get notified.
Furthermore, you can export the completed spreadsheet as a .pdf, .html, .csv, .xls or .xlsx from the view mode itself. Making it easy to edit internally and share externally. Excellentable is also compatible with Confluence export applications like Scroll PDF Exporter to allow a seamless exporting experience.
Collaborative Editing
A documentation tool is incomplete without collaborative editing. Excellentable allows you to work alongside your teammates on the same spreadsheet inside of Confluence. New Additions: Data Validation and Conditional Formatting
With Excellentable 4.0 we introduced an updated spreadJS that allowed us to release solutions faster than ever. And in a few months, we released two major updates – Conditional formatting and Data Validation to improve your spreadsheet experience in Confluence. You can now apply conditional formats and data validation natively in confluence as well as import them from an existing spreadsheet.

At Addteq, we lead DevOps by example and strive to add more features regularly. Based on high demand from our current customers, we will be releasing two major improvements very soon:
Graphs and Charts: With the data in spreadsheets you will be able to create native graphs right inside confluence without a need to switch to an external app
Collaborative editing without external connections: Collaborative editing currently uses Addteq’s created service but it needs an external connection. We are working on a solution to provide the same without a need to connect externally by early 2020.
